Welcome to a Family Church
Church Greetings
Thank you for your interest in Norwood Baptist Church.
Our longing is to know God as existent in 3 persons; the Father, Son
and the Holy Spirit. We would like that everyone who comes to our church see and know something of the greatness of God, He is worthy of exclusive worship.
We wish to make known that God has mercifully provided the free gift of salvation for sinful people through the person and work of Jesus Christ. To salvation for sinful people through the person and work of Jesus Christ. To know the mind and will of God we give ourselves to understanding and teaching the Bible. We accept into membership a person who accepts our belief statement, shows evidence of being regenerated by the Holy Spirit and openly confess
Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour. Our intention is to apply the truth of God’s word in our everyday life in our relationship with God and with each other

Here are our monthly sermons for those who likes to read!
Today’s message focused on finding our purpose in Christ and aligning our lives with His plans. The key scripture was Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
Main Points:
- God’s Plan is Perfect:
Even when life feels uncertain, God’s plan is always for our good. Trust in His timing and guidance. - Purpose is Found in Relationship:
To discover your purpose, deepen your relationship with Christ through prayer, reading the Word, and worship. - Living with Purpose Glorifies God:
When we walk in His purpose, we become a light to others, drawing them closer to Him.
Takeaway Challenge:
This week, ask God to reveal areas in your life where you can align with His purpose. Write them down, pray over them, and take one small step toward obedience.
Let’s walk boldly in the purpose God has for us!
Key Verse to Reflect On: Philippians 1:6 – “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Have a blessed week, and remember—you were created for a divine purpose!
